I originally gave this place 3.5 stars but after ordering delivery from here regularly over the past few months I have to change that!We regularly get the Chip Butty wrap, which I cannot recommend enough, it is so delicious. Sometimes I order an extra one just so I can heat it up for lunch the next day! Really do recommend, extremely tasty, the chicken is always cooked perfectly and Ill be continuing to order from the place regularly!!
Went for dinner close to closing time, wandered off and came back to grab my order which they were still cooking. As I looked into the cooking area the cook picked something out of the pan he was preparing my food in (with his ungloved hands) and ate it, he turned his back briefly but was still chewing on it as he prepared my burger. The schnitzel was overcooked, almost burnt. I was too grossed out to eat it. Had issues with the order last time I was there. Never again.
We first had Shnitz down in Melbourne so we were very excited to see it land in Queensland. We both ordered the Royal Chip Butty’s and were surprised by the large portion sizing. The chicken was tender, with a good crumb, and the smokey BBQ sauce complements the chicken. The chips are the best from any fast food chainOverall, the staff are friendly, custom orders are always fulfilled and the price is reasonable.
Come here for the chips!!!!! I cannot stress enough, these chips are delicious! They are crunchy, well seasoned not just with salt but some kind of secret concoction of some magical herbs and spices. Conversely, the schnitzels are good, but nothing amazing.
First time visit. The schnitzel was delicious, perfect crumb and nice and moist. The chips were divine. Only downside they don’t do gravy. I’ll definitely go back.
I had lunch at Schnitz yesterday and ordered a chicken Swiss Schnitz on Turkish bread and chips to share. The burger was quite dense, such that it felt a little heavy! And it was delicious. The schnitzel was moist and crispy and the toppings were fresh. Also the chips seasoning was amazing!Service was friendly and efficient. I loved that you could get meat or veg for every menu option so it would suit anyone. All ingredients are Australian too. My only criticism is that the thickness of the schnitzel could overpower the flavour a bit so that as I continued eating I felt like I wasn’t getting a big variety of flavours. But the meal was filling and I think reasonably priced. Obviously it’s in the middle of a food court too so it’s noisy, but they make up for it with a stylish shopfront and seating area separate to the food court.
We went to Schnitz after doing some shopping at Garden City, plus to also try it out. Always being a bit partial to a schnitzel, we thought it sounded like a good place to go. I have had wraps before with schnitzels in them, and they are always nice. We were surprised by the menu when we got there, as we did not think it would be as expansive as it was. It is also great that you can have your schnitzel on either Turkish roll or in a Tortilla wrap. I liked the fact that you could have a choice of schnitzel as well, being chicken, beef, fish, or vegetarian. It looks like it can accommodate mostly everyone. We ordered our meals, slightly coyly due to not being there before. We ordered a Chicken Swiss Schnitz and a Chicken Hawaii Five-O, both in wraps. The meals do not take long to get to you. We sat to the side and you could watch the staff make the meals. They are generous on everything that they put in. It is amazing that they are able to wrap it up in the end. The meals had plenty of flavour and everything was balanced in the wrap. They are so filling and it is hard to get through one, which we had to takeaway for later. And it was still delicious later. The chips that you can order are fantastic in their own right, and have a great seasoning on them. Possibly filled up too much on the chips to eat all the wrap. I think we will be definitely going back to try all the other menu options.
