Ordered the pad see ew prawns, it doesn’t have the fragrance that Thai food should have, all I could taste was was saltiness from the dark soy sauce, and it’s way overpriced, $15.9 at a food court!?
First impression * looked like only non veg it will have Ambiance *stall style Presentations * neat Food * good Jain food * yes Staff* friendly Prices*easy Service* good Conclusively * should try
The worst pad thai I’ve ever had! Thought I’d try somewhere new but I didn’t even finish the meal it was so unpleasant.Very little favour, tasted like they’d just used soy and a lot of lime juice, very dry and just one big clump that was very difficult to pull apart with chopsticks or a fork…I got the vegetable dish and the vegetables were undercooked and strange to put in pad thai – not many sprouts but full of bland mushrooms, carrot and zucchini.Definitely wouldn’t go back here, lots of other lovely places to eat in Eight Street and wonderful Thai food up at Kinn Thai in the outdoor food area at Garden City. Don’t waste your money here.
I like their Chicken Pad Thai, although the noodles sometimes stick together abit. The noodles retain their length which I prefer over the mashed up versions that have had too much tossing in the wok. They also have non-Thai dishes on the menu too. For an extra couple of $$ you can add spring rolls and a can of drink to your meal. Service is quick and food doesn’t take long to be done.
On the corner next to the bar at 8 Street. I order their noodles…Even though it’s not Thai food, they do an alright sizzling hot plate chow mein. Nowhere else on 8 Street seems to have it. Most of the time it’s a good combo of crunchy and soft textures. My last one was mainly soft though. Flavor is good. OK value not bad. instagram.com
Always have lovely service and the best thai food I’ve ever had and very affordable !! My favourite dish is definitely the yellow curry fried rice <3
