Fantastic for rural Queensland. Just had a beautiful meal at Ruperts. Lamb rump was tender and cooked perfectly. Service was great. Attached to a motel but had its own very pleasant atmosphere. Would definitely recommend if visiting Warwick.
Great Food. How were we surprised to have such lovely foods, considering Ruperts’ low rating of just 63% . We decided to try it because all other restaurants are closed for dinner on Sunday. We were pleasingly surprised to taste how good they are. We ordered for our entrees the Parmesan bread with herbed pesto & onion jam mayo, which is very nice, we also ordered Cajun buttered Turkish Bread with avo &tomato salsa. Unfortunately instead of the Turkish bread they served us herb and garlic baguette. We realised it only after we devoured the baguette :(For our mains we had Angus Scotch filet, John Dee Angus Eye filet, Black Onyx Sirloin and Pork cutlet. They were all great and exactly as we wanted them. We were so satisfied with the whole experience that we forgive them for serving us the wrong bread and even when they billed us the Turkish bread, which we ordered but didn’t get, which is a bit more expensive than the baguette. All and all we were pleased with the whole thing, incl. the waitress who is very polite and professional
Warwick Gem. Had dinner last night at Rupert’s when we were visting from Brisbane. The service was fantastic, very prompt and polite. The food was amazing. We started with Parmesan bread with caramelized onion, the moreteon bay bug salad and trio of scallops and every entree was on point. Absolutely delicious. For mains we had the pork, chicken kiev and sizzling seafood and everyone was really happy with their meals. Decent sizes and yummo! Dessert was pannacotta and an affagato. An older crowd at this restaurant, many of whom are clearly regulars, may account for the lack of decent reviews. If you are in Warwick give it a go – we were all really happy with our meals and we had a wonderful night!
Cold, rainy night, hungry after hobnobbing with the mayor at an art gallery exhibition opening. Found this restaurant – happy to serve us late. Food was great, we had the pate, scotch fillet, aged rump and chicken breast. Chicken was a bit dry but still tasted good, steaks all delicious. Of course dessert- ginger an pear steamed puddings- a little dry but had plenty of gorgeous sauce to help out!
Wait staff excellent but food portions unbelievably ridiculous. Yes the steak was well cooked but there was hardly any of it. For $30+ a meal, unacceptable.
