I’ve been to The White House of Waterford twice now, first for a high tea a few months ago and last night for dinner. Both times were fantastic! The food was great, service great and staff lovely. For dinner I had the Brazilian stew which was delicious and extremely filling. We also had the Meze platter for an entree, which was eaten in about 5 minutes! If you haven’t dined here it is a must!
Went to High Tea today, 20 Jan 19 for my wife’s 70th birthday. We had never been to this restaurant before and took it at face value.We were overcome by the layout of the table and even more overwhelmed by the quality and size of the portions. Having been to other High Teas, the one at the White House left the others behind.The attentive staff on duty did themselves proud with their professionalism and friendly attitude. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they should be congratulated.To the staff behind the scenes in the kitchen, you are amazing and very talented. Thank You.I can not do more than rate this establishment the highest in recommendations. Well done to all and thank you all for making the birthday of my wife such a memorable time.I will be back to experience your ambience and quality again.
Had dinner at this local restaurant early September. Lay out done up very nice and we think they must be very busy for bookings of wedding parties. Service is very friendly and we can feel the passion from the whole team.Shared entre of garlic & herb pizza bread is freshly made and tastes good. Main of the daily recommendation of porterhouse comes out with expectation and quality of neat is superb. Carbonana with chicken & mushroom is slightly let down by the watery creamy sauce. Dessert of Belgian waffles can be better due to the fact that those waffles that we had were slightly too soft.Overall, we are glad to see such nice restaurant in Waterford local area and foodies should give it a go… Cheers!Rating 3.5/5
