We bought fish and chips from this shop today and they were so greasy and over cooked. Also a small serving of chips – seemed about 0.5 kg of very small cut chips, 1 tiny tatare sauce and one tiny tomato sauce. When we opened the pack the fish all fell to pieces (barramundi) and the oil oozed onto the paper. It cost $29. We usually go to an excellent shop at Manly where the cost is $18 for the same meal except the tomato sauce is in a large container.There were two girls working in the shop (owner out the back) one of the girls began to put a new order together after mine and she picked up 6/8 calamari rings with her bare hands and girl doing the cooking did the same before putting them in the basket to cook! Not going there again…….I will forward a photo seperately as it is on my phone.Cannot download photo – how convenient.
Great quality, taste and price!. Having been a wellington point local for many years I’ve tried all the fish & chips shops and this is one of the best!Agreed with the comment below – this fish & chip shop (across from petrol station – not at point) is very good. They’re fast, produce great food and it is affordable. Their calamari is amazing as is the service. Don’t be surprised if they add a few extras or freebies that’s just part of their service. Also, it’s cash only so be prepared – otherwise you’ll be drooling all the way to the ATM when u smell the food and can’t pay for it on card!Try the other shops and you’ll pay twice the price, wait for long periods of time for your food and receive nowhere near as good service!

Best Takeaway Ever. Just a note , the negative feedback here is NOT for this takeaway shop , they are speaking about the takeaway shop on the point by the pier and boat ramp. This Takeaway shop is on the main esplanade on the main drag heading down the road heading towards the point.Ok, I’ve been going here for years now and have always found these guys prompt and very good at what they do , the seafood is always cooked to perfection and the burger are second to none , give these guys a try , you’ll never go anywhere else.
OUTRAGE!. Went to Wellington Point on Sunday to go fishing and decided to get some takeaway from the Point of View kiosk. Ordered a burger and chips and waited over 45 minutes for the food to come out.It was absolutely outragous. Was not given any warning prior to ordering that there would be a wait and even if I had I could not fathom how it would take 45 minutes to make a burger and chips even if there were a few people in front of me.The staff looked as though they could care less and weren’t hurrying or trying to speed things up. I saw people go to the resturanat after I ordered and get proper dining meals faster than I received my burger with chips. Once the meal finally came there was no apology about the wait! Will not be going back here EVER AGAIN!
Burgers taste good except that they take at least an hour to make. I walked to King Island and back and they still were not done.

What a winging piece of crap you are, i dont think anyone could serve you a decent meal and be happy with it.You are the typical reason why restaurants have the ability to refuse to serve someone for whatever reason they want. go back to what ever country you came from and have a wing. Ya Baby.PS, i live near the shop and have never had an issue with getting an order on time or getting served even when they are about to close, small business maybe but the owner has no problems serving any customers wanting to get served.
