I visited this place about 6 times since we moved into the area earlier this year. The fish is usually good, chips sometimes too greasy but the customer service is a real shocker which is why this place gets such a low score. My experience today was that I phoned up to place a simple order. I was told it would be ready in 20 mins but when I arrived on time they had muddled up the names and given my order to someone else! 5 mins late they gave me another fish and proceeded to smother it in salt after I asked for no salt. They cooked another and covered that one in salt too. So on the third attempt and 15 mins later I finally got my order.I tried to talk to Graeme the owner but he just could not care and really has no idea of how to say a genuine sorry or any idea how to retain loyal local customers – best to avoid this place and use one of the many other local alternatives!

BUT WHEN I AND PARTNER COMPLAINED THE OWNER REFUSED, HE SAID I MUST OF BEEN HAVING A BAD DAY AND WAS BILLIGERANT RUDE AND WRONG . I ASKED THEN FOR HALF MY MONEY BACK AS IT WAS INEDIBLE HE ABUSED ME AND SAID THAT HE SHOULD SUE ME FOR PAIN & SUFFERING!!!! IM THE ONE WITH A BROKEN TOOTH FROM BITING A HOT CHIP!!! REDICULOUS AND ILL BE TELLING EVERYONE TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS & SEEING A LAWYER ABOUT GETTING MY TOOTH FIXED!! IF I COULD GIVE A BIG ZERO RATING I WOULD HAVE!
