Best fish and chip shop EVER! Ive moved around quite a bit and no matter how far I move, theres no fish and chip shop better than Marys. Even when we lived half an hour away, we still made the trek to Marys at least once a month. Talk to anyone who grew up in Wello and we all have fond memories of Marys so its not just me. Everyone I talk to feels the same.They have THE BEST chips. Nothing compares. They have great portion sizes so its fantastic value for money. I hope they never close. If they ever do, I actually think I will legitimately cry…. no joke. littlemellife.wordpress.com

Great value for money – This was an $11 combo for cod, chips and drink. We added an extra cod and 2 sauces which made it $19.50. Run by some Asian women who seemed friendly enough. Food was good but no eftpos. Will go again to this cheap little fish and chip shop as I live close by
Was looking for fish n chips in our Wellington Point visit, none of the reviewed places impressed much so stumbled on this one that seemed busier than others. Very impressed – monster serves, friendly service, extras thrown in (eg 6 calamari thrown into one order), nice fish, delicious calamari and potato scallop, even tartare was great. Just don’t over order!!
At first i was sceptical about going to the place. I’ve read many reviews and they were all dissatisfied with the food and the customer service. But being at wellington point, i wanted to grab some fish and chips. Despite reading all the negative comments i still went to the place. Paid 18dollars for two cod and chips. Was very filling and the taste was on point. Crunchy fish on the outside and tender on the inside. Chips were very nice too. Overall it was a good experience but the customer service did lack a little. Wasnt very friendly however i still recommend visiting. Perhaps because i went at a off peak time? The food was good
