Sunday night live blues music and cocktail jugs. Had the sweet potato fries and the pizza special. The pizza was delicious with a good amount of feta. Nice seasoning on the fries.

If your in West End you have to check out Catchment it’s a super cool vibe. Great selection of beer menu looked really good but didn’t get to try it. Next time I will be back for dinner and drinks!

From the outside, this place looks like a typical pub one would go for after work drinks. My friend booked a table but there was no waiter around. We walked up a flight of stairs past the bar and saw the dining space. Finally we approached the bar tender who took us to our table. I ordered the sous vide duck with charred leeks and star anise. The meat was very tender, with the fat rendered well. The leeks were a tad oily for my liking. The waitress said the duck dish was new on the menu. I would probably go back again as they do interesting shared plates.

Great service, very cool ambiance, and most importantly, great food. We got the pork belly and bone marrow croquettes as entrees and they were definitely the highlight! As mains we got the duck pancakes and the porterhouse. Both were so amazingly tender and unique, however both were a bit too salty. My Partner had one of their beers (brewed on site) and couldn’t speak more highly of it.Overall, this place was great! I just wish the mains were a tad less salty.

Nice atmosphere and great drink menu. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The chips were soggy and the aioli was so runny it was more like a salad dressing. The trout fillet was very small and the coconut risotto was very sweet and reminded me of a sweet rice rice pudding. Based on this I do not foresee us coming back.

Loved this place!I’m not much of a beer drinker – but they had a great wine list with with plenty of options by the glass. From the menu I tried the empanadas, croquettes, chorizo and ciabatta – you can’t go wrong – they were all good, particularly the empanadas filled with rich oxtail bolognaise :0We chose to sit out the back in the beer garden and listen to the live music but you can also sit upstairs where they have a second bar and two small balconies looking out onto Boundary St.Coming back for the cheese platter!

I attended a Christmas party at Catchment Brewing Co. The beer was good, service was prompt, but the serving sizes left much to be desired (each plate served 4) and the food was good, but not great.First course was warm ciabatta bread served with slow-roasted garlic bulbs and tomatoes. The bread was probably the best thing I ate all night. They then served three varieties of tapas – Yabbies, Chorizo and Spiced Cauliflower. Everyone got 1-2 bites of each.A small slice of Rump Cap served with Hollandaise and Mashed Potatoes followed. The meat was cooked nicely – medium rare – but half of my slice was chewy.Chocolate Cannoli and Churros finished off the meal – both were forgettable.I would return to Catchment for a beer, but not for dinner.
