My mum and I dined here for an early dinner before a QPAC show on a Saturday night and were seated promptly. You share tables which is no problems, just something to note. It was really busy for so early on a Saturday! Staff were really quick and polite and made note that we had a show to get to and made sure our meals were served quickly. We ordered and the food came out when it was ready so just note your mains may come out before the entrees. We had the l Bo kho braised beef cheeks with a serve of steamed rice. This was a great dish, the beef was beautifully tender and packed with flavour. Next we tried the bao chicken – pillowy soft dough and tasty fillings, this was my favourite dish. The beef and beetle leaf dumplings were ok, a touch dry and not my favourite. We also shared the bun cha – a pork meatball, pork belly and noodle dish. This was a little disappointing, it lacked flavour, needed a dressing over the noodles and salad and the pork belly was overcooked. The food is half great half ok. The kitchen pumped out the food which was terrific. Service was great and ambience was also really good. lifelovetravelfood.wordpress.com
Five of us dined here for dinner on a Saturday night. It is a really cool set up with the train going past and wooden bench tables to sit on. We did not enjoy the 90s pop playlist though. Since it was a group booking, we needed to have the banquet menu. The curry came out first which was done in error so we were compensated with some chicken bao which was yummy. I really enjoyed the food here. In particular, the Vietnamese salad and the beans that were served with the pork belly.
