Lin’s has excellent authentic Chinese food – favourites include their handmade dumplings and the Szechuan style mapo tofu. We’ve been back 4 or 5 times, and every time the food is really fresh, the service is friendly and the flavours are delicious. I hope more people in West End visit so that they have the support to stick around – we’ve taken friends there a few times and everyone loves it. The food is so good!
Nice little place in West End, they have quite an extensive menu….so can be difficult deciding what to eat. I decided to go with the steamed pork dim sims which were reasonably good. Will hopefully return to try other things on the menu.
I have a feeling that Meatballs and Beef Cheeks would like this place. One of the best kongpao chicken dishes I’ve had. It was well cooked with a long slow chilli hit but not overpowering. The seasonal veggies also came with a hint of chili and thinly sliced garlic.Fast friendly service and nice decor. Reasonably priced and great value.
If this place was in Sunnybank, It would be good, but it wouldn’t necessarily stand out amongst all the other establishments. In west end however, there is nothing like it anywhere remotely close. This is real sichuan food, even down to serving Mao Xue Wang; a delicious, spicy dish featuring tripe and cubes of congealed pig’s blood. Good luck finding something like that at jackpot. They also have a few generic chinese restaurant staples for the timid.
Really good Sichuan food. This is probably the best chinese food youll get outside of Sunnybank and surrounds. The chilli is fairly toned down though, I wish the dishes were hotter.
Nice restaurant and friendly staff however the food was rather average. Some of the dishes we ordered were nice, but the majority were rather average unfortunately.
