This place called archive and loft is arguably the worst of the worst in terms of attitude of staff. Just to clarify I am talking about the old staff and especially the women. They come to work with their domestic baggages hanging down their necks like plaques. And they project same to patrons. Its a pity but whoever invest in this business to do it up so well is gonna be on the losing end. You dont put old wines in new bottles….with the emergence of the new loft should have come new set of motivated and professional staff. Just my opinion. Few days ago I walked in there and the manager ( the short and round bloke) attended to me, it was just the two of and it was not even Friday nor Saturday nor peal hours. I bought a pot of cider and gave him $21 expecting to get $15 as change but he gave me $4 back. Apparently his mind is not on the job!! I had to remind him to give me the correct change. Now go figure his performance at Peak hours!! I cant imagine it. Unfortunately wether or not the venue makes money these people will be paid. Bad for business. For me and my business associates, we have decided to take our businesses elsewhere until the last of the old clans is outta that venue for good. Ambience is not the building but the staff. The current cohort is pathetically unprofessional.
