Clever fit out of an old warehouse. A pretty good range of beers on tap which is normal fare these days. Ive eaten here 3 times now and I didnt review previously because I really wanted to give this place a chance but Im now convinced that there is zero love in this kitchen. Its a pretty basic bar menu which has enough options just to get by. I had the chicken Schnitzel for the second time and for the second time it had been cooked to within an inch of its life. It was dry and when I turned it over it had been burned black on the plate down side. Frustrating because the produce has been paid for, the wages paid and the lights are all on. All that is needed is some pride.
Great chill atmosphere and service. The food was amazing too. It has become our new local. Great place to kick back with a few bevs or go for dinner. Highly recommend.
Great meal and great choice of beer! I went this place at christmas lunch. Music was a bit loud but still ok. Forgot to take a pic of octopus dish, that was really nice too.
Great atmosphere and food! Ordered the smoke wagyu burger with a side of sweet potato fries and was impressed with the portion size. Well priced meals with friendly staff. Highly recommended!
Terrible place – Not impressed. Extremely noisy place where people get drunk/rowdy and make lots of noise, especially at late into the night. Pity the neighbours (and school children who have to go to school the next day) nearby….Inconsiderate operators
They’ve done a great job refurbishing this place. Trendy decor and love the brass bar, this creates a beautiful atmosphere to dine or have a few bevs. Lovely wait staff. Our waiter came out to check how the meal was and if I wanted more dressing for my salad. Very attentive. The salad I got for lunch was perfect. I got a big serving and with plenty of the zesty/creamy chipotle dressing. The chicken was cooked very well and I loved the addition of crispy tortillas. My dining companion got the chicken & super greens sandwich and was quite satisfied too. I want to come back to try the burger and espresso martini!
As far as pub food goes, these guys do a good job.I had the super food rainbow wrap and of course i added the Haloumi. This was nice and fresh and something i don’t see in many other places serving pub food. usually the only options are greasy pub meals.300g Porterhouse Cooked Medium rare for my partner – came out the way he wanted it so he was happyWill be back again to try more of the menu, as it is in a good location. I want to try the S&P Calamari next, and maybe one of the pizza’s. The couple beside us shared a pizza and it looked really good.
