After a day of fishing, Paul Chan and I are ravenous and Original Daves is our answer! Arriving at West End after an hours drive thinking about our dinner, I know exactly what to order. Meat!*3 Beef Short Ribs ($55) looks scrumptious, weighing around 1.5 kilos. These short ribs are so meaty, perfectly seasoned and super tender. Paul and I agree these are the best Beef Short Ribs we have eaten in Brisbane. Rating: Perfect 5*Half Rack Pork Ribs ($32) is served with a delicious sauce. We are surprised to see so much meat on these pork ribs. The meat is very tender and this dish complements the beef ribs. Rating: 4.5Our sides of Hand Cut Fries and Poutine are disappointing, so over fried and crispy, we have to eat them with our fingers. But for the Fries, this meal would score a perfect 5 as our hunger is fully sated. My overall score for this meal is 4.5 an improvement of half a point on my last meal here. Thank you Guys!
