Solid Greek restaurant in an area with a large Greek community. Weve been here several times and they do all the simple things really well: Greek salad is on point with noteworthy peppers and feta; lemon potatoes are yum; tzatziki and pita always reliable. Their meats are always perfectly cooked (lamb, chicken, pork) – seafood is fine as well but I find their meat is more of a standout. Overall I think this is the best Greek restaurant in West End. Would recommend.

Average Greek food. We got the Ouzeri platter and the meat ball was dry, sausage lacking in meat, lamb souvlaki tough, and potato drenched in garlic. Despite this, the dips and pita bread were delicious.

We have been here ten times and never disappointed. Dolmades etc etc too much to list. If there are a few of you get some meze platters. The Olympus or seafood. Try the Greek sweets. The outdoor street tables are great as the varietal denizens of the old West End percolate through. Go hungry leave full but beware the food is rich – lamb, beef, seafood, octopus etc etc

Came here on Friday night to celebrate my friend’s birthday. There were 12 of us and the restaurant was packed, so I kinda tolerated the slow service.Ordered Ouzeri Platter, Seafood Platter, and Vegetarian Platter. The seafood platter was my favourite. Filled with white fish, calamari rings, scallops along with a very tasty, pink-coloured dip. I did not like the deep fried anchovy, but most of my friends enjoyed it.Was definitely a good opportunity to come to Ouzeri together with my friends. I may come back here again to try the a la carte menu.

Had a 50% off food bill promo dinner last night. Service was extremely friendly. Ordered the octopus and Atherina Whitebait for entrees. Pita bread accompanied and the Greek salad accompanied with the octopus won our appreciation. The pita bread was very soft as the same as the feta cheese in the salad. Octopus was tendered. Hero should be the whitebait. I never had the whitebait of similar dish so crispy. Fortunately, the friendly waitress advised us to change the whitebait dish to meze size, otherwise, we would be too full for the mains. Mains of Seafood Medley and Lamb cutlets were large in portion. Seafood varieties were tremendous including mussels, bay bug, fish, calamari & prawns and the pasta underneath the seafood was al dente. Loved to a bit of sourness with the creamy sauce that refreshed the whole dish. The extra bowl of Greek salad again was very fresh, particularly the capsicum pieces were very sweet. Lamb cutlet was slightly let down due to the fact that we would not like them to be well done; however, the eggplant accompanied the dish was impressive. Overall, it was a decent dinner and it was a bargain to have 50% off the food bill.

We went to Ouzeri for a lunch on Sunday at 1pm – Restaurant was half full but not overly crowded. We were seated on a table on a weird slope so we ended up adjusting the chairs and table ourselves.Decided to get mixed grill and octopus meze for our meal. We were warned that it might take 20 mins because chicken takes longer to cook, which I thought was a bit odd given it was just a chicken souvlaki. Anyway we ended up waiting for 50 mins for the mixed grill which portion was smaller than I expected, and missing the meatball too. The waiter bought a small meatball after we asked about it. It was overpriced at $34.90 in my opinion, definitely more expensive than other Greek restaurants in the area. The food itself was just OK, service was slow but staff are reasonably friendly. On the positive side, the octopus was nicely cooked.

Nice food and big serve. The service is great too. It is located in central west end. I would go back for special occasions. High recommend octopus
