I was passing through South Brisbane the other day & was in need of my coffee fix. I noticed a kiosk out the front of this Tavern selling coffee so in I went. The coffee blend was advertised as Mocopan which is a great blend if done well & this was. Apart from the large amount of foam on the flat white & the not quite perfect appearance it tasted great, not bad for a pub brew, but order a double shot
The third restaurant in this location in just over a year. Monday is $12.90 Parma night and they have many varieties to choose from. I though I might be sacreligious and order the Canadian Poutine Parma with mashed and roasted veggies. Real chicken breast is the base for a well cooked parma. The spuds were creamy and the veggies nicely roasted with garlic butter. Worth coming back again as first impressions were very good.I’ve now come back here several times. The good is always good but the kitchen is sometimes a bit slow. The staff is always friendly. Great value, friendly staff, and awesome food.
