best breakfast ever. Everything is dairy free and gluten-free except 2 sauce but you can easy swap that. The price is perfect. Great value for money. you have to be quick if you want the delicious guacamole because that’s the first thing sold out.
One of the few things that I absolutely miss about Brisbane.Extremely affable owner who would do his best to match your tastebuds. Rockets Roesti extra hot with hummus and hot salsa with a bit of roasted red chilli flakes – extremely satisfying
Had a lovely Rocket Roesti from their food truck in King George Square today. It was a perfect combination of nicely fried potato, salad, pickled cabbage, salsa verde and hummus. Not too oily, just tasty and fresh. Look forward to trying more dishes.
Ended up paying $20 for mine…. Far over priced. They were sold out of the avocado and as I can’t have dairy a lot of the other options had dairy. Instead of substituting products they charged me which ended up in the price hike up. Roesti overall was quite average in my opinion. Not very crispy and very very oily. Great concept but needs some work.
Love my Saturday morning roesti just as much as anybody else. These ones come with great combos. If you get there early enough, you can buy jars of the peasant sauce to take home (salivating at the thought of it).The eggs are usually pretty great, the extras are cheap – you make make it as healthy or loaded as you like… thats it… I’m getting one tomorrow morning.Edit: the rockin rocket is my new favourite. That salsa verde is wowsers good! Tried the new milton markets this morning- they were OK- rocklea seem to load you up a bit more
Love the roestis at Roesti Revolution! The best ones I’ve had in Brisbane. You can find their stall at the West End markets on Saturdays – one of the only places I eat there since I’m addicted to them on Saturdays! The Roestis range from $6-$12. You can get it with smoked salmon, mushroom, rocket salad, naked, gypsy (or as add ons). The Lax is always my favorite. It includes: two roestis, smoked salmon and fresh creme with chives. You will (surprisingly) get very full from these. Sometimes when it gets a little too busy, you may get a slight burn on them (only happened to me maybe once or twice in tqo years). Other than that, they still remain crispy on the outside but tender on the inside as they grill their roesti patties instead of deep fry them (as I know some restaurants do, which makes them a little more oily).I would recommend to at least try these once. 🙂
