Pretty good stuff here for their mains. Had their breakfast nachos – and damn those were good & a generous portion. A tad bit on the pricy side, but it tastes good for what it is.
Have been wanting to try this place for a while now since it’s so close to home and finally found the time! We came on a Sunday and it was half full meaning we could get a seat immediately. The Breakfast Nachos was delicious – potato was crispy and the mince topping was flavorful! Only downside was I found it a bit too heavy for breakfast so probably better to share with others. The Eggs Benedict was amazing! Very generous servings of yummy pulled pork and potato hash was nice and crispy however, the bread was a bit too hard for our taste. The iced coffee was one of the best we have ever had, perfect mix of sweetness and bitterness from the coffee and ice cream but the matcha latte was a let down. There was barely any matcha flavour, the only thing that could be tasted was the almond milk.Overall, definitely a good brunch place and we are keen to come back to try other dishes and the Eggs Benedict again!
Had brekkie with Meatballs And Beef Cheeks at this place in the morning. No doubt this cafe located at a very eye-catching position so business is not bad when we arrived at 7:00am. We took a seat inside the cafe and was greeted by the wait-staff immediately. I placed an order of flat white while Meatballs was reading the menu. He then ordered the poached eggs with grilled bacons with additional pulled pork and I had he grilled mushrooms with additional smoked salmon. My coffee came first, which was not so impressive because my visual appraisal told me that it should be a watery one. Well, it proved to be true that it even was worse than the one that I had at the service station early in the morning. Having said that both savory dishes gain marks back. They both look spectacular and also taste good. Particularly the poached eggs that Meatballs had look very smooth and I can see the egg yolk spreading out when Meatballs used a fork to pierce through the eggs. If and only if the coffee can be done a little bit better, it would be the perfect brekkie for both of us. It is a shame!Rating 3.5/5
First time having breakfast here, we ordered a cappuccino, the kings breakfast ($24) and the Eggs Benedict ($10). The kings breakfast was generous in portion and ingredients fresh. The eggs Benedict was also great, eggs were cooked perfectly, hollandaise sauce rich and creamy and bacon cooked well. The only con was that the bread was over toasted and rock hard… For only $10 (Monday-Friday) though it is great value for money. The coffee he is also great and we would return.
