You can almost forgive the prices, the lob sided tables and low key table settings, as after all… you are dining at Brisbane’s home of theatre and within its CBD area.The food unfortunately is severely lacking in comparison to the status of its venue. We recently tried the steak and chicken salad. The steak was not of good quality falling short of even many pub experiences. It came garnished with salad and chips that were certainly a cheap and average attempt.The chicken salad was perhaps more disappointing. The chicken tasted as if it had just been defrosted and emptied atop directly from a vacuum sealed bag. In entirety, the salad was bland and tasteless.If you’re seeing a show I’d recommend allowing extra time to grab a bite elsewhere among southbanks fantastic selection of eateries if possible.
