An hour and still waiting for my coffee.. Then to see people who ordered food after us recieve their meals before I even get my drink. Is there little wonder to why the clowns have disabled your star review and hide behind the lie of 4 no doubt fake 5 stars. Finally received food after an hour, cold beans, cold mushrooms, cold bacon, cold halloumi etc etc.Made comment on their Facebook page and it’s been twice deleted and I’ve been blocked.

My wife and I walked into what we thought was Nourish Caf, and were up to the counter before we realised Tighty Whities had taken over. The girl on the counter answered the two questions we had immediately, the crew from Heisenberg Haus two doors up had been operating their new caf location here for a week now, and that the name was born from Heisenberg Haus’s love for referencing the show Breaking Bad.There was some initial disappointment that some of my wife’s favorite Nourish meals were now only memories, but what was available to us on TW’s menu quickly put that to rest. The food is pretty standard caf fare, but quality is key. As is service. Literally within minutes of ordering it, coffee was been placed on the table, followed by food not too long after. There are plenty of options for diners who’s dietary needs are restrictive, and their happiness to accommodate said needs is even pointedly printed on the back of the menu. The staff appear knowledgeable of the contents of meals. When ordering a cocowhip bowl for my wife, I was quickly asked if she had dietary concerns for a list of ingredients found in it. That kind of attention to detail is really impressive. The coffee is good and Andrew and the team have done a great job moving into a new location that already has a local reputation, and look to be making great strides to making it their own. The only reason I didn’t go up to a 5/5 rating is that the menu is fairly standard. I hope that they mix up the menu once they settle in to their new location and add some more distinctive items to it to really make them stand out.I’ll be back to try the eggs benedict soon.

Though we dare not ask what the name means, were rather surprised to see that Heisenberg Haus has a little popup coffee venue operating from the function room through a huge window onto the street. They serve the much-loved Tobys Estate Coffee, CocoWhip and food to go on weekdays from 6.30am until 1pm.With tea and coffee costing $3 $4, a sandwich $4 and a roll $4.50, its a cheap lunch served with a smile! foodgoldcoast.com.au
