Oily. Pretty bad experience tonight! It was a nice place to sit down but then we got the food! The dim sum was cold on the inside and soft on outside very undercooked. We got battered whiting which I get is cooked in oil but there was oil dropping onto the plate and literally large pools of oil. Clearly hadn’t been drained or shaken in the basket! The chips were also very cold and the aioli just tasted plain sour. Hopefully just a bad night as I don’t know how they would stay in business.

What’s the alternative?. Used to be fantastic here, but now very ordinary. When I mentioned it a few months back, the girl just looked at me. We tried the more exp sweet lip last night and it was average also. You don’t realise how bad it’s become until you have good F&C elsewhere. Sadly don’t feel like driving too far on a Friday night.

Awful. Very disappointed with this restaurant. The service is terrible, the food not so great and there are just too many other lovely options around for me to waste my time with this one again.

We had a great meal at D’lish Fish. We had the hot and cold seafood platter for two which was great value. The cold oysters and cold large prawns were fresh and delicious and the hot crumbed fish, calamari and scallops were hot and yummy. The chips are just the best! We like D’lish Fish….go in, order, collect your wine glasses and cutlery , find a table and wait for the food! The staff are pleasant and brought a bottle of cold water when we requested it. We even had a finger bowl with lemon for our fishy fingers! Just a great place for an informal seafood meal!

Terrible. I experienced poor service and disappointing food, there is a much better fish and chip shop down at homezone on Newmarket Rd called Get Fished.

Standard. This is a fairly standard suburban fish and chip place with a very nice sit down area. The meals were very large. Fish and chips were nice, however the calamari we ordered was a bit rubbery, as it always seems to be in these types of places.

I ate there recently and found the food cooked well. The value was unbelievable as I could not finish my meal but luckily they were happy to pack me a doggy bag. The salad was very fresh. I will be going back again soon.
