What’s to like?. Nothing!!! Do not go there. Bad food, coffee & service. However it does look good from the outside.
Love it!. Woke up on Saturday and off to qwerk I went for a cuppa to get me going. As soon as I walk in my eyes light up it’s the big young fella on the coffee machine, good bloke always working hard he is. But at this moment i knew I was getting more than one coffee today because the way this young lad grinds his beans is unbelievable, whoever taught him how to make coffee is brilliant because his coffee is always out bloody standing! I thought I’d order some smashed avo and haloumi that day too and oh man did it hit the spot. Great experience, everyone always friendly, one word, love it!
What a joke!. This place is an absolute joke! How they have stayed open for so long is a mystery to me. Went there recently, the place was basically empty so I was looking forward to some super quick service but had to wait about 40 minutes to receive cold eggs! I noticed another reviewer received the same ! They weren’t warm, luke warm or anything close to warm, they were COLD! Fridge cold! The bun they came on was soft white bread and throw on some cold bacon and there’s your meal, it actually made me feel sick. It was so bad we were actually laughing at our meals, if anything it makes for a great ‘restaurant horror story’ Our table was on a slanted piece of sidewalk , we weren’t given cutlery, but had to ask…I ordered a biscuit which didn’t come out with my coffee but instead after my breakfast, and frankly tasted so bland I just threw it in the bin convientley located near our table (which I usually would not like but when you’re ‘dining’ at Qwerk believe me – a bin comes in handy…)I would give this place 2/10 and and that’s being generous. These people need a wake up call!
Second time I’ve given Qwerk a chance, went on Sunday with my sister. I ordered eggs benedict, which took forever to come out and when they did were freezing cold, literally tasted like the came straight out of the fridge and had been cooked the day prior, the yolk was completely overcooked, and the bacon was rubbery and cold as well, it was served on a soft bun (the type you get on special at coles) totally inedible. My sister ordered toasted banana bread, again it was cold… The only reason she ordered this was because they had run out of ice cream for the pancakes, which for a Sunday morning is pretty unorganised. There’s a convenience store down the road, they easily could have run down and bought some. Table was dirty. No cutlery was brought out, we had to ask. I am totally bewildered as to how this place gets good reviews. Possibly the coffee saves them, but personally it was just an average cup of coffee for me. Will not be back.
Came here with a friend on a really hot day. We wanted to sit inside but the only table available inside had an old/broken microwave sitting on top of it. We had to move the microwave off the table ourselves with no offer of help from the staff. Food was very mediocre. Will not be returning!
Took 30 mins for cuppa. Long wait. Messy tables. Waitress with no idea. Nice coffee though.
Good place. Always friendly and the coffee is consistently good.
