100% Improvement – Worth another look. Had Dinner at the Windaroo Tavern last Wednesday night, They must have a new chef, the meals were tasty, well presented. Steaks were cooked as ordered. Salad and Vegie Bar was full of tasty fresh food. Like me, many of my friends have been disappointed over the past months. Things are looking up for that Bistro. Well done people, I will be returning to my local 🙂
Really Disappointing. A bit scary when your waiter doesn’t know what he is serving you……two steaks not cooked to order, one meal inedible won’t be back anytime soon….. Left a review with no follow up from restaurant manager…..gee wouldn’t you think they would like to know why we were disappointed so they could fix it……waste of time 🙁
Great Concept. My wife and I have been for dinner a few times and like the idea of selecting our own veggies and salad from the buffet style servery. The mains are usually very nice however we have had a couple of schnitzels that were ordinary. All in all, it is reasonably good value for money.
We are a small family and like to eat out where there is great quality food and value for money. We have never been disappointed ordering from there lunch specials and enjoy the lovely fresh salad bar. Another bonus is my son is under three and gets to have the salad bar for free. Which is a wide healthy selection of fruit, salads, pastas and vegetables. I highly recommend giving this place a shot for your self it is a very relaxing pleasurable experience for all ages. Thank you Windaroo.
Sadly average at best top dollar menu hamburger shop value when the salt and pepper squid is better from red rooster and the potato salad is the nicest thing you ate then perhaps it is Time to re evaluate the chef . Although I will say the rack of lamb was nice it’s a good thing the bottle shop staff rock
Food is ok here but nothing great. For pub food it is a bit pricey I think. They do have a salad bar with some nice goodies and drinks are also fairly cheap
