I went here with my partner for lunch today. I got the 250g rump steak, medium rare w/ fries and garlic cream sauce off the lunchtime specials menu. The steak was quite nice and a decent size so were the chips and the steak. The meals off the lunchtime menu came with the salad bar which had a range of things like potato bake, lettuce mix, coleslaw, fruit. I prefer just a salad with the meal as I’m not a fan of salad bars but was still a good selection if you are someone who likes that.My partner got the fisherman’s basket off the specials board. It came with a piece of fish, 2 calamari, 3 prawn cutlets, fish bites, fries and garlic aioli. He said it was okay but nothing special. To me it looked like the frozen seafood you buy from ALDI.For the drinks I got the Toblerone off the cocktails list. It was served to me in a glass that had a crack in it so I took it back to the bar and they made me a new one. Overall not a fan of it but I am someone who normally drinks jack Daniels and wanted to try something different as it sounded quite nice. It was a bit strong on the first sips and did get smoother as I was drinking it. My partner just got a glass of coke.
