I have followed mon around Brisbane since 2005 and she is a fantastic cook. Some of the best Thai I have had But she isn’t cooking as much and I hate to say it but the chef isn’t at her level. The duck was over cooked and the entrees are bland the prawns on skewers were ordinary and definitely not up to scratch. The curries were still good but the stirfry was tough. I’ve had the crispy skinned barrimundi previously and whilst it looked great the meat had all but been cooked away. It’s well priced but that doesn’t count for much when the food misses the mark.

Yummy. Great service, very accomodating. Fun atmosphere. Lovely fast service. Priced well. Food is good but nothing special. Would return though and would probably recommend

Love my local Thai restaurant! Fresh ingredients and authentic Thai flavours. Whenever my friends come to visit, I’m always bringing them to Mon’s.

The food at Mon’s is consistently decent – not spectacular, but better than other Thai places I’ve tried. We usually get a curry and a pad thai and they’re nice, but I would like a bit more freshness in the pad thai. We’ve only ever had takeaway from there, however, so this review is based on that, rather than the in-house dining experience. Overall, a nice place – bit expensive, but so are the rest.

A good Thai restaurant that is literally right beside the Windsor station. The moment we arrived, we were greeted by this lovely staff. It was a pleasant service. We ordered satay, springroll, and the puff for entree. The satay was good while the other 2 were ordinary.Right after the entree, they brought us steamed jasmine rice in this beautiful silver container. As for main, the deep fried fish in sweet and sour sauce was great. It was crispy and the sauce was tasty. Both penang and massaman curry were also great. Their padthai was good while the pad see ew was just average. The larb was refreshing, flavourful, but a bit spicy. For you who cant stand the heat, you might want to be careful.Overall I gave them 4/5 for the great foods and quick service. It is pricey though, we spent 170 for 6 people.
