Well my place of Vietnamese coffee and donuts is currently closing I took strip to this little place in a suburb on a main street in a very tired old shopping centreThe lady who greeted me was friendly and as I had read the other review I knew I had to have a peakThis bakery is full on serving everything from bread to sweet home made Asian inspired delightsI was quite overwhelmed at the amount big product they have preparedIt is in a very busy area obviously well known not only to the locals but in cane the police,!and then a tribe of ambulance personnel I ordered the cheese stick… perfect crisp light ? Hint of garlic tucked away, then spotted the donut on display the deep dish fried balls only with fresh strawberry jam mmm no Im after the deep fried crispy donut dark inncolour rolled in sugar with mock cream sold out… found the same with real whipped cream,,, thank u pastry a tad soft cream very very rich and strawberry jam a perfect compliment Further along I spot a cake tray layered with a coconut macaroon plus jam on top … it is just divine brown on the bottom moist throughout holding its own form full of decidable coconut- scrumptious To finalise the rum balls hand made today Im told they are not small like when u can be bothered at Xmas are1.5//1.5 and are heavy biting in rich a bit dry essence used Id imagine that is the choc covered oneThe other of same dimensions and cost covered in desiccated coconut a lot dryer can barely hold its large form due to dryness and similar comments as aboveId hoped they would be the shining light but…. my opinion is the coconut macaroon for 0.90c takes the cake hands down clove lead with the cheese twist at 1 foot long for $1.45Well a live in learn, a definite rerun not at 330pm but early morningDefinitely will return Jamiesgirl

Was actually looking for an African restaurant when I noticed this bakery almost next door. When I saw they had chocolate truffles & two types of rum balls I was sold. The truffles were in long stick shapes coated with coconut. The rum balls had chocolate flakes & were moist & smooth inside. Of the two my personal preference was the truffle well worth the tiny $1.50
