Have not been back to this renowned French restaurant after its extension; therefore made a booking to celebrate Christmas on the night of eve. The new extension provides extra rooms to a nice bar for people have relaxing moment while they having a chat before or after meals. Due to seasonal period, we dared not to drink too much so went directly to the dining area. Honestly, dining area is the same size as before except new lay out.Ordered the 5 courses chefs degustation to save time to think above what we should have. The gentleman who served us with nice hospitable attitude was attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, another wait-staff (maybe the owner) who was over-performed in talking to one of the tables for a long time with very loud voice that just distracted us and spoiled the vibe a lot. Food-wise does not save marks because it was not as exciting as what we had before. Importantly, the main is made of rabbit meat that is not our favorite at all. Sorry, Chefs!Rating 3.5/5Jun 22, 2015 Rating 4/5This award winning restaurant is one of the rarely authentic French restaurants in town. The venue makes you have home-feeling which is nice and warm. Dishes are rustic but the passionate chefs make them so tasteful. I love their snail entree, French Onion Soup and the Free Range Organic Duck in Orange Sauce. Their $55 set 3 courses are bargain, which is better than the one I had in Sprout Cafe at Auchenflower.
