Live music and better yet, tonight there was a girl power jazz band sporting a professor! Friendly staff and patrons, tasty, cold beer, gerkins, pretzels and peanuts! They do pizza as well.Have you found yourself shirtless? Go next door and buy another one from the attracted vintage and retro space, or just slip out that exit if you think you should dishonourably discharge yourself from the venue!

Awesome little place! My only improvement would be to drop the cost of beer a bit. I understand its craft beer, but $9 for a schooner of stone and wood is a bit rich. Love the vibe tho!

Came here for drinks and a meet up with an old friend on a Friday night. Very pleasant atmosphere and decor. Good selection of drinks and good service. Nibbles come fresh from next door, C’est Bon. A little noisy for holding conversations, I feel as though the space is a little too small for the need of a DJ. Just need to tone the music down a notch so it’s background to the great drinks, atmosphere and company.

The word that springs to mind when I think about Can You Keep A Secret? (or ‘Secrets’ as my colleagues all refer to it) is ‘kitschy’.A self-described Lounge Bar and Vintage Boutique, stepping into Secrets is like transporting back into the the living room of a knick-knack collector from the 1970’s. The bar offerings could be described as limited when compared to several of the neighbours – limited varieties of beer, wine and alcohol (I’m not a fan of their Whiskey offerings). They have live music on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and a DJ on Friday and Saturday. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.I have a few colleagues who enjoy Secrets, so we end up here every few months, but I don’t tend to enjoy myself here. Weird stuff seems to happen here, be it people smoking joints out front, being pressured into trying strangers’ cocktails, drunks trying to dance with me (and Lady Meatball), etc.I much prefer Padre (across the street – much better cocktails and a nice Whiskey selection), the recently renovated Brewhouse on the corner, or the Naked Whiskey Bar at the Morrison Hotel.

Groovy little bar with retro furnishings . Great atmosphere in the bar area with two other separate small intimate lounge areas that are very private and excellent for small groups. Very friendly staff that make you feel welcome. Does not do food apart from nibbles but you can order take away from any of the surrounding restaurants( Vespa pizza is right next door) . Fastastic little neighbourhood bar . We’ll be making it our regular watering hole from now on
