The atmosphere is very nice here. Their coffee is pretty good compared to the rest you can find around this area. I haven’t tried their food so I can’t comment. Their book collection is also worth a look. You can find some nice cook books for less than $10. Friendly staff is always appreciated.

Ignore those fusty old books on your way in – the coffee is worth the guilt you are experiencing in knowing that you ought to read more. Pro-tip: enter via the back door / alley entrance. Your guilt will subside, you will feel like a regular, and your shoes won’t clack on that annoyingly appropriate wooden floor.

Hidden treasure. Great little escape from the busy busy street out the front I love this little shop haven’t had time to look at the books but make time to buy coffee its super yummy every time and they also have great healthy snack options

Very Quaint – New Owner!!!!. Books Galore, art books included. Service with a smile and the food is wonderful! I had a hot chocolate which was absolutely delicious..

Diana. Just loved browsing the books here what a quaint little hideaway from the busy street. The coffee, however was a little bitter with a rather large head on it for a flat white, sometimes this can happen with Merlo if not made correctly tends to be bitter on the mouth feel.
