The peanut dishes are so gross. We had peanut noodles and a peanut curry. So many handfuls of boiled peanuts in the super sweet curry and way too many peanuts in the gross sloppy noodle dish. So yuck

Food was tasty but service was very poor. We were told our takeaway would be ready in 30minutes. When we arrived to pick it up at the specified time, we paid and then had to wait for an additional 20 minutes. In this extra 20 minutes I counted 10 ubereats/foodara drivers come, collect food and go. When I asked how much longer our food would be (about 10 mins into our additional wait) I got told ‘i don’t know’ by the staff member. When our take away finally came, a muttered non-genuine ‘sorry for the wait’, made me feel like we were an inconvenience as we weren’t an ubereats/foodra etc person picking up. Pretty disappointing really. If you like the food, probably best to order through ubereats etc so you get prioritised.
We enjoyed a tasty take away dinner from Leela Thai. We ordered a red chicken curry, oyster sauce chicken and chicken skewers. The main dishes were really tasty.
Food was tasty andservice quick for a home delivery. The management was really cooperative on an issue that arose from a 3rd party provider. I appreciated their response to the situation. I recommend this restaurant, especially the tasty curry puffs.
Leela Thai replaces Lemongrass Thai. They’ve renovated the restaurant and done a great job. The food remains very good, but now the decor matches. Can’t tell whether the same chef remains, but the Massaman Curry is still very tasty and my colleagues are very happy with the new menu.
