My last steak meal in February was forgettable so I am back at noon today with Phuong Tran for a new review and hopefully improve my previous rating of 2.5! We are promptly seated and I quickly peruse the familiar Menu, placing our lunch order before the arrival of the lunchtime crowd. Our entrees are served within 15 minutes. *Oysters Kilpatrick (12) ($34) comes with copious diced bacon. Oysters are fresh and this dish rates a 4. *Oysters Louisiana (6) ($18) comes with fresh oysters, tomato juice, Bourbon and Tabasco sauce. Excellent Oyster Shots and highly recommended, they rate a perfect 5. Great timing, our mains arrive as I gulp down the last oyster. *Graziers Eye Fillet ($34) is served with chips, Caesar Salad and mushroom sauce. The medium-rare ordered steak is grilled to medium. This is still a good steak rating a 4. *Graziers T-Bone ($36) is a thin cut but large steak grilled medium-rare. It is served with a baked potato, Caesar Salad and mushroom sauce. The grill wasnt sufficiently hot to sear/char the steak golden brown. Again, a good steak but certainly not a great steak rating a 4. We note that the recipe for the popular Mushroom Sauce has changed. The sauce looks the same but the strong Mushroom (Porcini) scent is missing. We enjoy our lunch here and wait staff are experienced and friendly. The overall rating for our meal increases to 4. Thank you Fiasco Steakhouse!
