Horrible food..Cockroaches everywhere on dining area ..We ordered aaloo prantha and we got naan with potao inside .. never recommended to anyone Raw foodPoor service Very disappointed with service Horrible service
The best Indian but the WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced!!! I am still awaiting a refund after I ordered through their app and the food was never delivered, this was two weeks ago. If I don’t receive the money soon I am escalating the matter to small claims court. I was going to let the matter slide if I had been reimbursed but now I have no choice but to warn people of your horrendous customer service. BE WARNED!
I ordered two dishes and none of them were edible. Unfortunately it was delivery and I was stuck with them. The beef korma was sickening sweet and tasted like synthetic syrup and was frankly repulsive. The sauce was actually sweeter than the mango lassi that I ordered too. The second dish was chicken tikka masala. Should be pretty straightforward but it was extremely salty. I am a person that usually like a lot of salt. And I couldn’t even eat the dish.
A few months ago my friend and I tried the food once (takeaway). Food quality wasn’t bad. Today we went there again to buy takeaway. Management has obviously changed again (it seems all these suburban Indian restaurants keep getting on-sold frequently to ‘new (Indian) owners’ who try to migrate into Australia). The new managament is bad as. They quoted 30 minutes wait upon taking the order, but we were actually made to wait 45 minutes before again told to expect an additional 20 minutes wait. Fortunantely we hadn’t yet paid, so we just cancelled the order and left. We will never go back again.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Always dine in though!! The dine in food is exceptional Indian cuisine and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing curry. I cannot say a bad thing about their dine in food as it has been consistent and exceptionally fantastic. The service is also very good with the waitress being extremely polite. Please consider the dine in food is quite different to the takeaway/delivery experience. We have eaten here a lot over the last few months and can safely say that dining in is the only way to eat this food. I’ve read reviews about their delivery service and I can tell you they are not wrong. We ordered delivery and they had forgotten some of our order but thankfully we live close enough that it wasn’t too much of an inconvenience. They did give us a free can of coke which was a nice gesture. We’ve had takeaway and whilst it is still good food it is a ‘watered’ down version of their dine in curries and their naans are never as fresh and can sometimes be overly chewy. It did also take just over an hour for the food to be delivered. I do not want to deter anyone too much from getting takeaway from here but I would advise that if you are after the proper food experience you should dine in. Dine in 5/5 – Takeaway 3.5/5 – Delivery 2/5
Certainly a royal treat!!The lunch deal of $10 was certainly much better than I expected. Kadai Chicken and the Naan reminding me of dabba style food back from Punjab India. Would love to try other meals in the kitchen.
People used to rave about the food here when I moved to the area. I tried it, but wasn’t blown away. They then went through a change of management, new name and new sign. Tried it again and was even less impressed. I tried Tandoori Chicken Tikka, Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Naan and rice on my most recent visit. I ate a few bites from each dish, but didn’t enjoy any of them enough to finish any of them. The best thing I can say is that I was in and out of there in under a half hour.
