We used to frequent this pub a year or so ago but we swapped to somewhere else. Just came back last night for a feed and it was great to see the changes! The restaurant has a nice, bright facelift and the menu is smaller but I prefer that as it generally means higher quality, over quantity. I had a schnitzel and it was pretty nice. Perfect chips!! May have to become a regular again

Not nice at all. Used to be good, but now everything tastes the same, and not nice. Even the chicken schnitzel is disappointing. Why don’t they have Chicken Kiev? Gravy isn’t nice, unfortunately.
We used to eat here almost every weekend. No complaints. Good food, play area for the kids, Keno and good service.The price was also pretty good. Haven’t been back due to other commitments on the weekends but definitely will return for a meal or two.
Wouldn’t go here again unfortunately. Ordered a steak with rib topper, chips and salad. I was not overly excited when the plate arrived. It was drowned in rib sauce, even the chips, not a good start. Steak was cooked ok but was a rather chewy. The ribs however where quiet in eatable, they were tough, dry and stringy. The chips where also average and the salad tasted a little off. The service in the other hand was good. Food came out very quickly not sure if that was a good sign or not, but overall dissatisfied.
