  Amazing food! Excellent service! A hidden gem…. Yarra House Restaurant is definitely now one of my favourite local eats. As someone from Logan Village, we have to travel far to dine out so this was an unexpected surprise. Although the food is a little pricey, the serves are generous and everything was delicious (the steak was slightly overdone on the sides, but that is my only complaint with the food). When we arrived, we were a little anxious because we were the only customers there. My family goes by the motto: an empty restaurant = bad food. This was not the case for Yarra House. It is situated on a main road, and with cars going by at 90 km/hr you can hardly see the tiny sign outside. We almost drove by it. The restaurant also does not have its own liquor license, so you do need to BYO. Those who like to try different local wines (such as myself) with their food will be disappointed, but others who like to bring their own wines will not be charged a corkage fee. Overall it was a great experience with lovely food. I am rating it a 4.5/5 purely because we could not have a red wine with the steak. I’m hoping this review reaches many people and boosts the clientele, because this place would be completely abuzz if they had better advertising. And possibly serve alcohol.

  I had my mums 50th surprise birthday and although the seating changed last minute they were very happy to accommodate the service was fantastic and the food was to die for not a single complaint from the whole table and all 16 people were extremely satisfied portion sizes were generous and we will defiantly be returning 100% best restaurant we have all been to in a very long time 🙂
