We always go here for the wood fire pizzas. $20-$25 and very good. Not a ton of toppings these days but flavoursome. Best pub pizzas Ive had. Plenty to look at on the walls. Staff are great. I havent eaten another meal but they all look good as they go past. Very generous. Not a rowdy place.

I love going to this pub for lunch, Great Service. The food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere is great. What else can I say….I have never had a bad meal here, and everyone I have taken also loves it.

Sensational pub and food. Didn’t expect the food to be such top quality.Tried the salt and pepper calamari with chips and salad. Sensational Price was around $23 I think but well worth it , feel totally stuffed full of food My mate battered whiting , haven’t seen so many pieces of fish in a meal ever.Worth the trip, locals know all about itThe staff are absolutely sensational , friendly , showing courtesy through out Go and check them out

If simple traditional pub fare is what you are chasing, then the Gem is the place for you. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous.Meat is general the hero of the dishes and steak takes top billing. Simple side dishes of salad and veg nothing special. My chicken and mushroom with mustard sauce was on the salty side but full of flavour.

Stoked on Steak. We stopped here on our way home from Jacob’s Well. This is a hidden ‘Gem’.Winner 3 years running of awards for their steaks, well, we had to have a go. Even husband could not finish his – and amazingly good steaks they were, too. Standard pub prices, standard pub salads but the veg were fresh and crisp – standard chips… but bloody good steak!
