I absolutely love this place for their food.. so far everything I’ve had has been spot on in authencity.. I’ve had their laksa with Yong tau foo(yum), hokkien noodles (yum), curry chicken with noodles (yum), pan me (not bad) .. only issue is service can be a miss if it’s busy and they don’t open for dinner on the weeknights …

Great food!!! Massive selection on the menu with flavours to suit any palette. It’s no fancy restaurant but the food is worth the IKEA chairs.

If no one told you the whereabouts of this one, you’d never find it. My partner and I went in for a late breakfast and there were already quite a few people there, mostly Malaysians. Usually a good sign that the food is authentic. We ordered a curry chicken noodle an Asam curry and a Malaysian milk tea. The curry came out first and the portion was massive, great value for $12. By the time the Laksa came we were almost too full to eat it. The laksa was a little bit too strange for my tastes, full of pineapple and fish. Not bad just a strange combination of flavors. I’ll go back again and try the standard laksa for $10.Tasty food for cheap prices.

This is a small place so you may not get a table exactly when you want it but the tables turn over fast enough so that you shouldn’t have to wait long. We had friendly and fastservice which made lunch easy. The food was good – we enjoyed the roti, spring onion pancake, our various noodles and the wonton soup.

Standard malaysian food. Some food may be hit and miss but some food when done right is extremely good.love their mee goreng which is spicy enough to my liking. The dry pan mee and the nasi lemak is good too.

Have been to this place a number of times and the foods were pretty good. Went there again today and found the food was totally bland. The one that annoys me the most was the service from the lady that ran the floor. She was just totally rude. Normally there was a young man doing this and he was okay but today I got this lady that was just unbelievably rude. She had no courtesy at all. Sorry Chef Lai, I don’t think I can recommend nor will go back there again with that kind of experience.

From the former owners of a once popular Kopitim @ Gouger St. we have here one of the few somewhat authentic Malaysian eateries in Adelaide. Having said that however the food is rarely consistent. Some days you’ll get bland tasteless char kuay teow. One of my favourites is the Hainanese chicken rice despite the fact that the chicken and beansprouts are microwaved. Another usual order for us is the Pan Mee (flat noodles soup cooked in anchovy stock), this again however is sometimes bland and not seasoned well, or the ingredients are sometimes lacking. We’ve had the Curry Laksa here and it was disappointing. There is a large selection of very Malaysian-specific delicacies on the menu including a curry fish head dish (serves a few pax for about $40 and you need to pre-order) and Kadazan Fried Chicken, but like I said what will make this place level-up would be improving on the consistency of the food here. Until then we won’t be rushing to go back as much as we would like to.
