I went to Hindmarsh Square one lunch break looking for the Sneaky Pickle food truck, but they were out, so had to settle for Chimichurri. Except it turned out not to be settling at all ecause the food Beef sandwich I had was so delicious. The bun was fluffy and fresh and the meat cooked perfectly. It was really lovely sitting out on the grass in the sunshine eating it amongst friends.
For what it is you really cannot ask for any more. AMAZING CHIPS! $16 for a massive feed and a drink. Nice staff and a lot of restaurants wouldn’t put up food this tasty! More great food from Adelaide!
Amazing chips!! The chipotle sauce is vegan, which is great. I just go for the chips as the foccacias aren’t really that tempting to me – loads of bread with standard fillings. They’re not bad at all, just not exciting enough. Really lovely staff.
Not good!. I had the chimi chorizo at the St Peters fair on Saturday… It’s left a lasting memory and not a good one. I honestly could have made this better myself with some supermarket items. The chorizo was particularly fatty and the bread was far to dense and dry. The fries were the only thing slightly redeeming. The truck itself looks like it needs a bit if TLC and a good scrubbing!

Quick service, tasty food. Do some poor, misguided people really go to an Argentinian food truck named Chimichurri expecting chicken options?? At $15.90 for the lot (scotch fillet ciabatta, chips and mayo sauce), I was given a very generously sized portion and at a very reasonable price. Quick service, which is much better than other food truck experiences I’ve had. Food is fantastic, too, though at a stretch, I’d say the ciabatta was too floury on the outside, but that’s just nitpicking!
Yum!. Sensible me should have just had the very generous chorizo, but greedy me was glad I succumbed to the crunchy battered chips and rich mayo dip. A very decent lunch time feed – big enough to share, but possibly too tasty to do so.
