Absolutely love the toasties here. Ham, tomato and a lovely cheese (maybe gruyere), buttered outside before toasting to make it golden and crisp, and with no damn chutney or other condiments. Im a toastie fan and this is my go to place whenever Im in Adelaide (which is frequently). I prefer it to any toastie Ive had in Melbourne. With a good mocha or cuppa, it makes the perfect breakfast. Havent eaten anything else here, so this is my toastie-only score. It would be 5.0, but Im searching for the perfect toastie, so I need to leave room to score it when I find it.
Only have had the coffee here so can’t review the food. Coffee is a bit pricey, compared to other coffee shops around the area but worth the extra few dollars. Indoor seating is a little cramped so I usually opt to sit outside, in the bustling narrow street. Service is great, everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming.
Really tasty food and great coffee. The service is also very welcoming and friendly. The indoor decor is really modern and comfortable. This also seemed like only one of a few cafes open for breakfast on saturday morning.
