Not a puttanesca. No Capers, noAnchovies, no parsley and drowned in tomato paste. Served at room temperature. No pine nuts in partners risotto. The bugs were flying around us when we are eating the food. Very disappointing.Maitre de quite polite about it.Won’t be back and won’t recommend restaurant to clients of our hotel.

Honest review here. Why am I bothering with this review when we all know what to expect from fasta pasta? Well just as a reminder that you know things havent changed.Service is the only good thing about this place.Ordered kids fish and chips, main lasagna and main fettucine puttanesca.Kids Fish Chips – should be called chips with some fish and salad. 80% chips with tiny pieces of fish and salad. Average quality.Lasagna – where’s the ham? Predominantly cheese and pasta layers with minimal mince meat, and I cringe to think of the quality of that mince. I’ve seen better frozen lasagna at Foodland.Fettucine – pasta was overcooked and could not find ONE anchovie. Is it flavoured with anchovies? Couldn’t taste anything other than tomato sauce and olives. Average.Food portions ok.Drinks ok.Price for 3 of us -$45.Overall – pretty much what i expected for budget eating. Did expect better quality pasta meals given that’s what they proclaim to cook well – disappointed. Only go if you really crave something slightly healthier than junk food. ps. judging from the other reviews here, it seems i’m pretty forgiving.
