Really nice chicken, juicy and soft inside and crispy on the outside. Really nice flavouring too. A bit disappointed as the quality has gone a bit downhill from 2 years ago, when I first started eating from here. Seems like the chicken isn’t as thick (original big chicken) and there aren’t many pieces of the chicken bites either. Also, prices have gone up, so you’re paying more and getting less
Absolutely love it! Price is reasonable and the texture is very rich and not dry! The flavour is rich and delicious which makes you want to eat more! Really recommend the #3 and also the sweet potato fries are very delicious aswell! Good snack for all the time and if you’re on the go

I’ve purchased from this place on several occasions over a period of a year, initially based on a recommendation from a friend. The chicken is unique in flavour and is quite tasty. But that’s as good as it gets as far as my experience is concerned. The shop is run by a bunch of chinese/cantonese punks who have no interest in customer service. They seem to be more interested in enjoying themselves, chatting, listening to music, and standing out the front smoking rather than focusing on customer service. Almost every time I have been to the shop I have had to wait far too long and greeted with indifferent aloof staff. It seems they can only cook a small batch of orders at a time and tonight I had to wait almost 30 minutes for one bag of chicken bites and one bag of mushrooms. Combine this with having to find parking which is not always easy, having to walk to the store from a distance, having to use cash because the store only accepts cash, and being distracted by homeless aboriginals across the street, and ask yourself whether their product is worth the trouble and whether they deserve your business when it is clear they don’t value it.
I just popped in quickly last night to see what the deal is here. It’s a real hole in the wall type place. As you can see from the photos or from other reviews, the menu is tiny. There are only about 5 things to try. From the look of the place, I wasn’t expecting a whole lot. The place was a bit of a mess – I hope due to the fact that it was getting later on in the night. Not that a messy place really bothers me as long as the food is good.I had already eaten so I only ordered the chicken bites with medium spice for a snack. From the first bite I was really surprised at what I was experiencing. The seasoning is pretty intense in both flavour and heat. Although the heat didn’t kick in for me until I’d finished the bag, my girlfriend felt it right away. Despite it’s intensity the flavours are really quite moreish. The most pleasing thing for me, however, was the tender, succulent, moist chicken in the middle. Obviously it has been marinated for a long time.I mean, this is fried chicken from a hole in the wall. It’s not going to blow your mind – but having had a taste I am still keen to go back and try the other menu items like the mushrooms and the fries.
I ordered the Hungry Combo which included the oversized chicken and the sweet potato. The chicken was full of juices and the sweet potato was soft. At $10, it was value for money, will come back next time!
Was walking down the street and couldn’t choose a takeaway from the 100 different shops then I found this place and I was not disappointed…. Fresh, tasty affordable and I will be going back the first chance I get
