The reason I gave such a low rate was because of the poor value for money of the Groupon deal. $35 for 2 people 10 courses degustation was in fact 2 lunch bentos. I felt cheated by the word degustation. The food was just average too. If the purpose of the Groupon was to gain profit then it’s successful. But it’s to promote the business via introducing good food at a discounted price then it’s a total failure.
The waitress remembered my name after greeting me at the front door and continued to address me by my name throughout the night. I was pretty impressed. There is a large range of food to choose from which made deciding difficult. We ordered a large boat which took an hour to come out even though they were not busy that night. The tuna was still frozen but the other pieces of sushi were ok. Probably won’t return but it wasn’t a bad experience.
