While travelling from Melbourne…So everything that was served, was done well. However, it came down to preference. I prefer my dumplings less meaty from within, but these were dense and chunky. The skin was good – steamed or pan fried. The bibimbap was ok, but let down by no hot pot to add that additional crunch and heat. Good, but not a favourite.
If you havent been to Mandoo then you havent lived! Their dumplings are some of the best going around as evident by the line to get in. Lunchtime can be pretty busy but its worth the wait. Everything is super fresh because of the high turnover of food. Only a small amount of seating but thats part of the charm. Wait in line, its worth it.

Went to this place for some dumplings and good food! Super crowded for lunches! The egg custard tart sounds tantalizing, quite average though. Must try!
Our go to Korean in Adelaide. Although Mandoo have a limited offering, everything they do is fabulous. Bipinbap is huge and delicious and their dumplings really cant be faulted – simply excellent. The jar of pickles delivered to each table is thoughtful plus theyre delicious. Theres not a lot of space so expect to wait at the door for a table but its definitely worth it. Very highly recommended
My name is Sarah and I am a Mandoo addict….. The dumplings and hot pot here are so, so, so good. There’s usually a line out the front door, and don’t expect a flashy restaurant. But I feel like that’s part of the Mandoo experience and I actually look forward to waiting our turn for one of the tables in this cramped but bustly space before chowing down on amazing Korean food. Go and do yourself a favour and grab some steamed Mandoo or share a hotpot, foody heaven!
