Went to Milanos with my family the other day as I had an Entertainment Book coupon for it. Once we were seated and a waiter came over, we asked out of politeness if we were able to use the coupon today (there are no restrictions on any days). The waiter walked over to the owner, asked and then returned to inform us we werent able to use it. We asked if we could speak to him as to why, and the waiter walked over again and asked, then returned to us and said ‘he just doesnt want to do it’.We again asked if we could speak to him about it, the waiter left, and then returned and said the owner doesnt want to come over and talk. The whole time the owner was only 5m away behind the counter. We decided to leave at this point. All we wanted was an explanation why and we would have been happy. But the owner wouldnt give us the time of day. What made it worse was that the restaurant wasnt overly busy at the time either. Very disappointing and disrespectful. Wont be returning.

We came here yesterday and it was a Lil after midday and asked if they did all day brekky, the bartender wasn’t too sure and to hold on, then came back with a brekky menu which I think they might have finished breakfast service already and were doing lunch, but did it for us anyway and boy was it worth it! The Big Brekky was Enormous and had all the goods you need to start the day; poached eggs, spinach, bacon, mushies, tomatoes & a hash brown boom! Saturday made! 🙂

Not worth the time nor money.A group of friends and I picked this place for dinner as it seem to have a decent review. As there was a group of us, we decided to order a few pizza and pasta dishes to share. The ordering didn’t go as smoothly as the waitress seemed to just be nodding to what we were saying with a puzzled look on her face. Her confusion was definitely confirmed when the first dishes that were brought out was TWO identical dishes of each pasta we had ordered, when we questioned her on it she said we said ‘to share’. Luckily another waitress overheard the conversation and quickly interrupted to make the change for us It was clear to us at that point the first waitress was inexperience. Personally I have never had a problem ordering pasta and pizza from other restaurant the same way we had tonight however as it was obvious she was learning we just let it go. Unfortunately as the night progressed it didn’t get any better as one of the pasta dish was barely warm and the pizza was served on a tiny plate with minimal topping (3 prawns on the pizza with a few vegetables and sauce that were smeared on 60% of the base). To us as consumers it shows how careless and stingy the restaurant was and without a doubt the food was not worth close to the price the restaurant was charging. To end the night on a even worser note, the manager was secretive on the end charge of the meal when we questioned him and he would not reveal how he had calculated it. This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve had and if there was a negative rating I would have chosen it without hesitation.

Great service, lovely atmosphere and deco, never had something I don’t like from the menu! Coffee here is probably the best along Hutt St.

I have been several times. Always a pleasant experience. Great food, great service. I had the chicken breast & my partner had the papadella beef cheeks. Both meals were excellent.

Lovely focaccia’s. We ordered the chicken and avo focaccia and the lamb tzatsiki focaccia for a take away lunch, and both were delicious! The actual focaccia was lovely and toasted to perfection. And the filling were lovely, the lamb was my favorite!

Too hard to communicate with non-English speaking staff. Waiter did not speak English. I could not successfully communicate my coffee order – I received completely the wrong coffee and had to call the manager to translate my coffee order. Not worth the effort!
