An absolutely glorious find! I have been dreaming of a specific Filipino dish (ube icecream) since the first time I tried it in The Philippines 2 years ago and haven’t been able to locate it back home since. That was until I accidentally stumbled across Nio’s Lamesita who, yep you guessed it, filled the ube ice cream void for me. They even make it from scratch themselves! Marie who served us and chatted with us for a while was an absolute delight. She sensed the excitement in me and was probably just as excited as I was by the time she served up my ice cream.I look forward to returning for a meal (and dessert, of course) very soon! My new favourite restaurant in Adelaide, no doubt!
