We went there on New Years Eve for dinner. The service from the waiter Rocco and waitress Stephanie was great. We ordered 3 pasta dishes to share for 7 people, when we got our bowls 4 of them came out dirty. The owners didnt even come over to apologise, they were right next to our table. At least offer us something complementary. We had to wait for cutlery, so meant our food went cold. Overall we wont be going back there again.
Dined in at Passatempo for dinner as I had the buy 1 get 1 free from the entertainment book. I ordered the Linguine Tartufo to try something different, and partner had the Penne Con Pollo g.f (28.9). Sadly, my meal would be the worst pasta dish I have ever tried, and would definitely not recommend, both the meat and vegetables tasted like they came from a tin which was disappointing since the fresh markets are literally across the street. Partner was not pleased with her meal as well. Drinks Chinotto (4.9) and a lemon lime and bitters (4.5) which were fine. To top off a disappointing night, after presenting the voucher our meal went from $64–>$$47.4. I only realised we were overcharged when having a think about it a while after, It should of been 28.9+4.9+4.5= $38.3.
Took away a slice of Lemon cheesecake ($6.90). The staff who served me was so lovely. Although I was only taking away, he was very well mannered and professional. The cheesecake had some sort of slightly runny lemon sauce on top, which tasted rather artificial and not at all like real lemon curd, which was a shame. It was topped with shaved white chocolate shards, which I initially thought were coconut flakes (which I would have preferred, to be honest). The cheesecake itself was very yummy, and while it wasn’t mind-blowingly delicious, it satisfied my sugar craving.
