A nice mix of old pub and new pub. I was surprised by the menu – it was modern but with your pub classics as well. Our lamb rump and pork cutlet was cooked well and the meals were generous. Friendly staff.
Have been here a few times and have not been disappointed. Meals are not cheap and same as wines but there is value here . For example the special I had tonight was fresh crumbed garfish . Crumbed to perfection with salad and chips was the best garfish I have had in long while ! My wife had similar experience but she had calamari . Great pub , great food and good selection of wines . We prefer now to go during the week as Fridays and Saturdays can be busy .
