I am newly vegan and finding my way around the vegan life style, Pure Vegetarian does absolutely beautiful food. I have been back a few times after discovering this little gem only a week ago. Highly Highly recommend Pure Vegetarian to all people that enjoy good nutritious food.
What a delightful discovery! First time there – had the $10 ‘one of everything’ plate and a curry puff. The meal also came with a free soya drink that was sweet and delicious. VERY happy.
Great for food court vegetarian/ vegan food. And you get a big feed for little $$! They don’t use garlic or onion in their food to keep it in line with some people’s beliefs, so probably why some say it’s bland? Yet the eggplant dish is flavourful & the broccoli is always fresh & not overdone. The fresh homemadey satay sauce is nice as is their soy milk. For $8.80 for a full meal & drink that could feed me almost 3 times, you can hardly complain! I’ll post a pic.

I don’t understand the hype… This is just a typical food court stall more suited to the Myer food court than Chinatown. Standard noodles, stir-fried veg/mock meat and a lot of cornflour sauce. Boring.
Lacks flavour, standard food court food but nice to have vegan options.
Delicious & Vegan <3. First I need to applaud my favourite soya milk ever, yes I buy it – and drink it – by the bottle here! I am a regular. This is not fancy pants food but it is delicious, hearty and addictive. Aside from the aformentioned milk, I also always order the sticky black rice with a little beancurd. Again a basic, no frill dish but I can't get enough of it! Then with the 3 dish plus rice or noodles I alternate the latter, both nice, but the stars here for me are the curry and mock fish. So delicious!! With the third choice I usually pick eggplant or sweet and sour, both lovely. Add guilt-free (vegan) AND super low prices I really can't fault this place! May your doors never close 🙂
