My friend and i came for dinner. My chicken lemongrass had too much sweet and chill sauce. The taste wasn’t as great as I expected. Besides, the tables weren’t safety at all. I don’t think i will be back
Dined here last Saturday night in a group of 4. The waiter enthusiastically rushing over to open the door for us into the restaurant upon arrival was a good sign of things to come.We had a banquet style menu, with 2 entrees, 4 mains & dessert. All dishes were lovely, although the highlights for me were the salt & pepper squid and the seafood salad.Service was attentive and friendly – the staff were eager to please but not over bearing and time between courses was well spaced. We will definitely be back!
Went for lunch and shared duck curry and a lunch special, chicken with chilli and basil. Duck was cooked separately, and sitting on top of the curry sauce. Unfortunately due to all the bones, it was not a pleasant eating experience, and at around $28 per serve, I expected so much more. The chicken was better and less than half the cost. Will stick to the lunch specials if I return.
Arranged a delivery thru Menulog Cost $50 food arrived stone cold ( not late) meat rolls were like cardboard spring rolls tasteless pork belly full of fat and tough with a teaspoon of shredded carrot and lettuce. All of the large $20 riice went in the bin.Never again – very poor
Vietnamese restaurant in South Adelaide, the food was good and priced well. Small walk from South Terrace too so it is quite easy to get to.
A perfect place to enjoy a meal. One of the best banquet i have tried!Thank you for the great food and fantastic service in my first date! Will be back again!
I’ve never been compelled to write a bad review before, that is until now. On a quiet night mid week we booked a table of 10. The restaurant had no more than 10 other people it in ( it’s quiet a large restaurant) and they seated us in the hottest smallest part of the restaurant. We had to repeatedly go up to the waiters at the bar to request drinks and even water. Their refrigerators were not working well ( I understand that sometime things break and problems can’t be helped sometimes) so the wine and beer was not cold. We consistently had to ask for ice buckets to keep our drinks cold ( common sense for the wait staff to offer). We had to again go up to the bar and get a waiter to take our food order. Hopeless! The food was at best sub-par. We had a banquet of dishes that the head waiter recommended, so we were surprised when many of the dishes were over cooked or were cooked from frozen. Don’t even think about using the bathrooms here. I’ve seen cleaner bathrooms in Thailand. And don’t come here if you have small children. There are no change facilities either, I’m the first one to pop my Bub on a change mat on the floor and change her there. But there was no way in hell I was going to do that here. The only thing that was enjoyable about the night was the lovely company ( and the bottle of wine we BYO’ed). Please do yourself a favour and eat else where!
