My partner arrived from Melbourne at like 10:30, so by the time he got to my hotel it was like 11,We where so hungry because we agreed to have dinner together. So we walked up to Gouger st. We checked out Korean bbq they where like nope sorry we are closing. So we walked a little further then there was this Chinese hotpot. We walked in. It’s atmosphere was amazing. There was no one there because it was really late. But it didn’t bother us. The lay out is so Modern and expensive looking. It’s well done.As we took our seat at our both. I was talking to my partner try to decide what to choose. Till the male waiter came over. He asked have you have Chinese hot pot before? We said no first time. He said ok. Choose some meats then the soup (I recommend this one) it was chilli in one side then veggies and spicers in the other soup.It had 3 options for chilli we choose 1 chilli, bot it was nice when we first started but by the end it was so hot! But we loved it!We had, Pork, beef, lamb and chicken. With a selection of veggies with same lettuce and other green salad stuff!The guy said do you mind if I made you a sauce. After you cook the meats in the chilli, dip it into this and makes it more tasty and less spicy. We Saadi sure.He came back with some kind of sesame oil I think it was with a little bowl with garlic spring onion and few other things was amazing. Towards the end of the meal the owner came over and talked about the business and the restaurant lay out. She is amazing and looks after her customers a lot. She is humble funny and it just made the experience really nice.All the staff are funny down to earth. They gave us the best experience. You don’t have to just eat it’s a fully licensed venue and has live band on Friday night. Come in for a drink. I highly recommend this restaurant.
