The banana cake from here is a crowd stopper. I sometimes drive the distance here just to pick up a couple of these. The flavour is a perfect balance of banana and cream cheese frosting. It is softer than a cloud and lasts well in the fridge. I can not express my love for this cake as it surpasses anything I can explain. Hidden gem.

Good coffee, but I come here for the carrot cake and banana cake. They sell it by the slice or the whole cake. I often make the trip to purchase one or two of these beauties! They taste like they have been made by an award winning CWA master! No store bought tasting banana cakes here!!! Always a friendly smile and great service from the staff too! Highly recommended!!

Wanted a simple lunch, wide selection available. Great pepper pie: beef chunks and loads of pepper. Good coffee. Good service. Good atmosphere. Happily return here again.

large selection of savoury and sweet fare. had a couple of the baguettes – made for a tasty light lunch. prices spot on. enjoyed the lounge seating around the fire!

Where the locals go for their coffee (and maybe a baked goodie), with good reason. They also cater for tourists, who usually need to go out for breakfast, so there’s no disguising ourselves. This cafe is spacious and comfortable with a fire (in winter), heaps of tables and a lounge, and the staff are super-friendly (as the kids say).I went here yesterday for breakfast and I cannot remember what I had, I just remember it was vegetarian and it was good, as was the coffee.
