Rainy Sunday afternoon perfect time to visit. Dukkah and oil to start beautiful oil and dukkah mix with crunchy sourdough, just the right size serve to start. Picked the ribeye, paired with the Pepperjack Shiraz. Magnificent cooked just right and extremely tender, no need for the steak knife, the fork, cut through it. Wife’s pork belly very generous and also very tender, Apple salad on the side.
Every time we come, the food is amazing, and the setting is gorgeous. Any time of year the red meat is excellent, however the ocean trout is amazing, and the wines are always well matched!!!
Went here for the advertised coffee and cake. Lovely spot, beautiful surrounds. Coffee was just ok, cakes looks amazing but again, were just ok. Staff were disinterested and made me feel like I was interrupting them and not made to feel welcome at all.
4 out of the five meals we had were barely edible. Pizzas would have to be near the worst I’ve had – anywhere. You can’t just cake on the leggo’s tomato paste and get away with it. Seriously!Hey the chips were ok, just had to steal some from the kids!BTW – figs don’t go well with a thick tomato based pizza. What were you thinking.Staff were pretty uncaring alsoWon’t go back and don’t recommend you do too
